Chapter 2: The Perfect Wedding

Simmers, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Marcus Duke and Emma Hatch. As Emma and Marcus take their vows today, we are privileged to witness the joyous love of a new legacy -- a family that will be slandered and gossiped through the devotion of myself. May their marriage bring them the peace, joy, comfort and more rumors than ever. And may Marcus and Emma both look forward to each new season of their marriage --- just as the world looks forward to each new gossip of the year.
At this time, I’ll ask you, Marcus, and you, Emma, to face each other & take each other’s hands.
Marcus, will you take Emma to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her fat-ness and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, in weight loss and in weight gain, in scandal and slander, as long as you both shall live?
Emma, will you take Marcus to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his money and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in scandal and slander, in pregnancy and in legacy, as long as you both shall live?
